| BMR :
Traditional 3 GHz
Type F connectors are adequate for many HDTV applications, but
cannot accommodate the extreme bandwidth required to maintain
the HD signal to hundreds of TVs throughout a building. BMR
connectors, when employed in RF circuits designed for them,
virtually ensure the integrity of signals due to their
proprietary engineering. The new 75-ohm interfaces are rated to
8 GHz (test well to 10 GHz), and engineered to only mate
with 8 GHz parts and accessories. Featuring an open-top design,
connectors mount to the PCB to support optimal grounding and
inductance, and feature a contact pin placement that facilitates
low overall capacitance. Note: BMR
connectors will not mate with
standard F connectors in order to maintain signal integrity,
V-Bite (BNC,
F): The V-Bite ® is an industry award winning design PCB connector with all the advantages a designer could want. It edge mounts to the board which offers the lowest profile and) utilizes very little PCB real estate. It lends itself to surface mount and through-hole soldering techniques. There are versions for IR and convection
reflow soldering. Because the connector locks into place both above and below the PCB it disperses rotational torque relief to the board and not the solder points. The
New V-Bite
® design offers the lowest VSWR ratings to 5GHz due to the straight through-put contact design. No right angles for reflection. Available in and 75 ohm, threaded
"BNC" w / flange and "F" type for RG59 and RG6. Other options for PCB thickness available. |
